How we work,
in plain words.

Everything you should know before you hire us: quotes, payments, changes, our guarantee and what happens if plans change. No small print.

1. Site visit and quote

  • The first visit is free and there is no obligation to go ahead.
  • You get a written quote that lists every part of the job: materials, labour and anything else you pay for. If it is not in the quote, you do not pay for it.
  • A quote is valid for 30 days, because material prices in Dubai change often. After that we check the prices again before you sign.
  • Prices on this website and in the design tool are estimates to help you plan. The signed quote is the final price.
  • Mostreno is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to our prices.

2. Start date and permits

  • Work usually starts about 1 month after you sign, once any building or community permits are approved.
  • We apply for the permit (NOC) for you. The permit fee is added to your quote at cost, with no markup.
  • Some buildings ask for a refundable deposit. That is paid by the owner directly to the building or community and comes back to you after the work.
  • Before work starts, you get a timeline in writing.

3. Payments

  • 40% when you sign the quote, so we can book the team and order materials.
  • 40% at the halfway point. Your quote says exactly what halfway means for your job.
  • 20% when the job is finished and we have walked through it together.
  • You get a receipt for every payment. We never ask for cash without a receipt.

4. Changes during the job

  • If you want to change or add something, we send you the price in writing first. Nothing extra is done until you say yes, and a WhatsApp message is enough.
  • If we find a hidden problem once walls or floors are open, such as old leaking pipes, we stop, show you photos and give you a price before fixing it.

5. Materials

  • You choose the products. In the design tool you see real shop prices with links, so you know what each item costs.
  • If a product goes out of stock, we offer you the closest match at the same price, or you choose another one.
  • If you buy some materials yourself, we fit them. Our guarantee then covers our fitting, not the product itself.

6. On site

  • We work within your building's working hours and rules.
  • We protect your floors and furniture, clean up at the end of each day and take away the waste.
  • We need access to the property, and water and power on site, on the agreed days.
  • You get progress updates on WhatsApp with photos, without having to chase us.

7. Handover

  • When the work is done, we walk through every room with you.
  • Anything small that is not right goes on a list, and we fix it within 7 days.
  • You get the product warranties and care notes for what we installed.

8. The Mostreno guarantee

Every job comes with a 1 year workmanship guarantee from the day of handover. If something we fitted is not right, we come back and fix it at no cost.

  • Products keep their own maker warranty. If a product fails, we help you claim it.
  • The guarantee does not cover damage from misuse, normal wear, or work changed by someone else after handover.
  • To use it, send us a message with a photo. We reply within 1 working day.

9. If you need to cancel

  • Before we buy materials or start work: you get a full refund.
  • After that: we refund what you paid minus the materials already bought for your job and the work already done. You see the receipts, and the materials bought are yours to keep.

10. Delays

  • If anything will move your dates, we tell you as soon as we know, with the reason and the new date.
  • Some delays are outside our control, such as permit approvals, building rules or supplier delays. We still keep you updated.

11. If you are not happy

  • Message us on WhatsApp +971 58 198 4007 or email info@mostreno.com. We reply within 1 working day and work with you until it is solved.
  • These terms follow the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in Dubai.
